Cook pasta to al dente according to package instructions. Drain and rinse noodles with cold water. Add a drizzle of olive oil to prevent noodles from sticking to each other.
While noodles are cooking, mince garlic cloves, chop green onions, and prepare shrimp or protein of choice. In a small bowl, mix all ingredients of sauce together. Set aside.
In a large pan, heat up oil and melt butter with low heat. Add in garlic and slowly soften and caramelize garlic (about 5 minutes).
While garlic is caramelizing and pasta is cooking, season cleaned shrimp with dash of white pepper and sprinkle of salt. Add in seasoned shrimp to melted butter. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side. After flipping one side of the shrimp, add in green onions and sauce. Mix everything together for about 1 minute.
Once green onions are soft, add in cooked noodles. Add in cheese and mix everything for another minute or so. Serve with a crusty baguette or as is!
